For the first time:

Quranic Week held in Sweden
 

Sponsored by Iranian Cultural Office the First exhibition of Quranic Week opened on August 18 in Sweden.

 

According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), explaining about the programs of Quranic Week Bahman Moazzami, Iranian Cultural attaché in Sweden asserted: "this is the first Quranic Week which is holding in Sweden. We hope we could hold this event annually in Holy Month of Ramadan in Sweden."

 

 

"Although Ramadan is well known as the month of Quran, beside holding this exhibition we try to pay attention to other aspects of Holy Quran", he added.

He went on to say that exhibition includes different parts such as delivering speech with the theme of Quran and family, holding educational workshops for families, artistic section, displaying calligraphy works, holding Quranic competitions, reciting Tawashih and Quranic softwares and CDs.
